solutions and custom software based on barcodes, RFID, biometrics, iButtons, and
other Auto-ID technologies.
Web-Enablement – Lane Systems has been promoting web enablement to the
enterprise for customers to leverage the technologies used in the web today.
This is transforming existing desktop based applications to web-browser based
applications and take advantage to features like making the application
available everywhere, to solve the mundane task of updating every desktop for
version changes, to allow a scalable architecture as users and transactions
increases, and making the application more secure.
Mobility – Lane Systems builds Windows Mobile based applications for custom
business use. Windows Mobile based devices have proven its use from those rugged
devices from Symbol, Intermec, and Psion that have integrated barcode and RFID
readers to the phone based Windows Mobile devices from O2, Motorola, Samsung,
iMate, and others. This is for mobile sales, real-time inventory, product
traceability, and mobile reporting just to name a few.
Telephony – Telephony solutions integrates phone systems with computers. An
example is to deploy software based IP PBX for companies to take advantage of
features not found in traditional PBX like voice mail, interactive voice
response, query-able call logs, software based phone stations, integrating
