Envisioning – this phase is where the customer expresses how they want the application to be. This is a discussion of the business requirements, features required, reports to generate, processes to follow, the business workflow, and other details regarding the project.

Planning – the planning phase is where Lane Systems and the customer agree on the set of activities that should follow and their corresponding timelines and resources required.

Design – the design phase covers the development of blue prints of any custom software project. In this phase the functional specifications and the technical documentations are written. Also in this phase, the parameters for testing like test environments and test cases are produced as this becomes the basis of acceptance by the customer once the software product is produced.

Development – the development phase starts the coding, debugging, packaging, and integration of the software that needs to be developed as defined in the design phase. Deployment – this phase commences a process called the User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
